Saccharolicious is derived from the Latin name for brewer’s yeast (Saccharomyces) and the suffix -licious. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the -licious, derived from delicious, means “denoting someone or something delightful or extremely attractive”.

Our goal is to provide the brewing community with a wide variety of attractive yeast strains.   Not only ale and lager yeast, but also more sexy strains such as Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus, Schizosaccharomyces and more.

In addition to bugs we also manufacture gear to capture, store and culture yeast yourself.
